She blends over 15 years of journalism experience with hospitality analytics; married with academic pursuits in data science and computer science to provide data-driven solutions. Her proficiency in data collection, analysis, and SEO strategies has resulted in exceeding key business objectives and goals.

Her former role at Consumer Affairs as a Research Analyst, required the coordination of data collection and delivery of accurate insights as paramount responsibilities. Complex datasets were transformed into understandable narratives that fuel content creation. Marcy’s expertise lies in developing performance tracking dashboards with Google Analytics, optimizing in Snowflake, and improving data interpretation using tools such as Tableau, Qlik, and ahrefs.

Additional experiences include providing technical guidance as a Data Science Assistant Instructor at Woz-U/Learning Source and volunteering as a Data Analyst at Catchafire.org. In the hospitality sector, Marcy was able to wrangle operational expenditures through cost reduction.
